Fallen Angel - Rahab The angel of the deep (One-Vox)
Rahab The angel of the deep (One-Vox) |
"Fallen from grace, once the angel of death, now he is little more than a banished soul chained to the depths of the ocean.
He is a tortured soul indeed. Unfavored, unloved, unwanted and but still the faithful lamb.
Lost to the light of day and the kingdom of Adam, he is still the master of the abyss and must be respected.
-A Prayer to Rahab, Angel of the Deep"

Gabriel (GENZOMAN)
Gabriel (GENZOMAN) |
In Abrahamic religions, Gabriel (Hebrew: גַּבְרִיאֵל, Modern Gavri'el Tiberian Gaḇrîʼēl - the strength of God; Arabic: جبريل, Jibrīl or جبرائيل Jibrāʾīl) is an angel who serves as a messenger from God.
He first appears in the Book of Daniel, delivering explanations of Daniel's visions. In the Gospel of Luke Gabriel foretold the births of both John the Baptist and of Jesus. Christians of the Catholic traditions refer to him as Gabriel the Archangel.
In Islam, Gabriel was the medium through whom God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad, and that he sent a message to most prophets, if not all, revealing their obligations. He is called the chief of the four favoured angels and the spirit of truth. He is called the created Holy Spirit (Islam) that spoke to Muhammad, which is not to be confused with the Holy Spirit of God in Christianity who is revered as God Himself. Gabriel is also mentioned in Bahá'í Faith texts, specifically in Bahá'u'lláh's mystical work Seven Valleys.
According to the biblical verses which specifically refer to him, Gabriel always appears as a man. Outside the Bible he is occasionally portrayed as androgynous or female, as in some New Age beliefs or contemporary art imagery. He is the patron saint of Diplomacy. (more on wikipedia)

Angel - Seraphim, the burning one
Seraphim, the burning one |
Seraphim (singular "Seraph"), mentioned in Isaiah 6:1-7, serve as the caretakers of God's throne and continuously shout praises: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. All the earth is filled with His Glory." The name Seraphim means "the burning ones." The Seraphim have six wings; two covering their faces, two covering their bodies ("feet"), and two with which they fly.
Two of which are named Seraphiel and Metatron, according to some books. Seraphiel is said to have the head of an eagle. It is said that such a bright light emanates from them that nothing, not even other angelic beings, can look upon them. It is also said that there are four of them surrounding God's throne, where they burn eternally from love and zeal for God.
